Volano Software is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to focus on outbound software sales and solutioning. You will be responsible for prospecting, outreach to potential clients, lead qualification, appointment setting, and various other tasks. During the sales lifecycle process, you will work with the sales team and uncover a prospect’s software needs and requirements, and help outline a tailor-made solution for their business.
Generate new business opportunities through various channels (email, social selling, networking, cold outreach, referrals, and existing client outreach)
Attend high-level requirements meetings with prospects and gather software requirements
Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
Collaborate with the management team on the prospects’ projects
Work directly with marketing to help develop and execute campaigns and prospect outreach
Maintain and report on all sales activities (HubSpot CRM)
Qualifications
1-3 years of outbound, inbound sales, or account management experience (preferably in SaaS or custom software)
Motivated and driven to meet or exceed sales objectives and goals
Understanding of software development lifecycles, technology trends, and industry jargon
Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal teams
Working knowledge of business processes and workflows is a plus
Understanding of HubSpot CRM is an added benefit
