Thomas works on both backend and frontend development at Volano, helping data move seamlessly from storage to screen. He enjoys writing efficient, maintainable code so that features feel effortless for the end user. Seeing everything come together into a polished final product is his favorite part of the job.
Before joining Volano, Thomas explored virtual and mixed reality, database design, ETL (extract, transform, load), and even graphic design. That variety gave him a wide perspective on solving problems and building thoughtful solutions.
Outside of work, Thomas still codes for fun, whether that’s entering game jam competitions or experimenting with custom hardware. He’s currently working on wearable VR controllers with haptic feedback. Music is a constant companion. His favorites include Toby Fox and Lena Raine. Most days, you’ll see him with earbuds in, enjoying a soundtrack while he codes.
