At Volano, you will work with a variety of clients and projects alongside a remarkable team of back-end and front-end developers, designers, and management to build web and mobile applications.

Volano builds workflow-centric software using the latest proven technologies. These solutions are created in collaboration with our clients in an agile, iterative fashion – and typically new from the ground up.

Core Functions of this Role

The people we’ll consider for this position must have a thorough understanding of building and deploying web applications using a variety of tools and frameworks, such as:

• HTML5
• Sass or LESS
• JavaScript; Typescript a plus
• Front-end frameworks, such as Vue, Angular/Ionic, or React
• Webpack and Gulp
• Bootstrap
• Figma for handoff
• Adobe Creative Cloud for handoff
• Understanding of technical SEO implementation

Essential Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate ideas and concepts to clients and internal teams
• Collaborate with the project team, including project management, back-end developers, UI/UX developers and product design
• Create performant web and mobile application components, animations and styles
• Analyze and refine HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript on projects
• Test and debug for cross-browser and mobile implementations
• Present solutions with the project team to the client

Work Remotely

Employees may work from home but need to be near Omaha to attend in-person meetings and work events.
